CLEVELAND – Cuyahoga County Prosecutor Michael O’Malley announced that a Cuyahoga County grand jury returned an indictment charging Sean Porter, 31, for forging juvenile court documents causing a mother to temporarily lose custody of her child.
On August 8, 2021 a court hearing was taking place over a custody battle. After the mother alleged a journal entry presented by Porter was false, the court initiated an investigation. The investigation revealed Porter forged and filed false documents in the Ohio Supreme Court, Euclid Municipal Court, and Cuyahoga County Court of Common Pleas Juvenile Division.
Sean Porter has been indicted on the following charges:
- One count of Kidnapping
- One count of Interference With Custody
- 22 counts of Forgery
- 22 counts of Tampering With Records
He will be arraigned at the Cuyahoga County Justice Center at a later date.
